Split Ends Salon just celebrated its 20th Anniversary! Where has the time gone! We know we’ve made it this far because we have the most awesome clients who support us and are there for us through the good times and the bad! We made it through Covid–which was the hardest obstacle that we’ve had to face in this profession, but thanks to perseverance and amazing clients, we came back even stronger!!
As Statesboro grows, we see the growth too and we are thankful for all the busy days… I just wish we knew exactly how many people have come through our doors over the past 20 years! We’ve shared many happy moments with our clients and some sad moments, but that’s life and we are so grateful to have each other to go through it with.
We are thankful for all the stylists that have chosen to work at Split Ends over the years. We are an 11 station booth rental salon, and we currently have 11 amazing full time stylists and 2 that are part time. We also have our wonderful receptionist, Whitney Hughes that keeps things going for us! Rena Woodcock, Teri Walls, Beth Oglesby, and Denna Hughes have been at Split Ends since day one. Sherrie Harkleroad has been with us for the past 17 years. Jan Poole joined us in 2012 and is currently part time. Shannon Rushing started as our receptionist in 2012. We watched her grow into a full-time hairstylist by 2015. They both have been at Split Ends for 13 years. Liz Farrell, Renee Frison, Courtney Jones, and Jaeda Wilburn have been with us for the past 6 years. With over 25 years of combined professional experience, Courtney, Jaeda, Renee, and Liz are more than coworkers—they’re a close-knit team and genuine friends who have worked side by side for many years . They came to the Split Ends family six years ago. Our shared passion for beauty, creativity, and connection is at the heart of everything we do. Katie Hadden has had an amazing start at Split Ends, and has only been with us for a year and a half, but she’s filled her book up faster than any new stylist that we’ve ever seen! We are happy to have Alissa Smith as our newest stylist. Alissa joined us earlier this year, and she’s already growing her clientele quickly! She loves extensions and everything blonde.
